The stick style is easy to apply to my skin without a mess. It does have a cooling effect that is pleasant but not over stimulating. It doesn't leave a white cast.

This stick is a work of genius. You wouldn't want to use it on your entire body because it's so small, but for the face it's perfect. You just pop off the top, rub it on your skin and massage it in. It smells like eucalyptus - not a hint of the sunscreen smell so many dislike - and it doesn't leave any kind of white cast. Not even any greasiness. It's perfect.

Best of all it's small enough to fit in your pants pocket, so there's no excuse to be without sunscreen. Easiest five stars I've ever given.

I've only tried it once so far, but I did enjoy using the stick sunscreen. It's a good size, so if you want to bring it with you to reapply, it's not nearly as space consuming as a bottle of sunscreen. You also don't need to worry about leaking/spilling. I didn't get any white cast when using, and the sunscreen itself is odorless. I found it easy to apply and would re-purchase.
